I do it about every 6-8 months on our 2009, works well.

I just wipe it off with a damp chamois and repeat if it returns. Seems like it barely happens now and haven't seen any sign of it returning since earlier this year.

This, and it leaves a UV protection behind as well as a low luster sheen. Keeps my 38K mile seats looking new.

It seems normal for the Corvette but I have to say, it's the first vehicle I have ever had this happen to.

does the same on my 06. I found that Zainos "leather in a bottle" works the best for me.

Thanks, I appreciate that. This is a 2010, and first time it's ever happened. I did go check the glovebox after seeing your post, and yes, there ARE spots showing up there too. It's just not as noticeable being a different color from the black dash.

I posted that I have tried a microfiber towel dampened with H2O but it did only a little good, as the film just does not look quiet as heavy in that spot now.

Hard to believe I've had this car 2.5 years now and happened while it was sitting up waiting to get wheels back.

Damp cloth works for me, or an interior detailer.

The plastics are oxidizing. You can temporarily clean it off, but it will come back soon. Aerospace 303 is the only stuff that I have found that will eliminate it for a considerable time. Had it on my 2002 FireBird, and 303 eliminated it and I reapplied every year. 303 is more expensive than other treatments, but then it works when others don't.

And it takes no additonal time/labor to wipe down the dash and door panels with a rag sprayed with 303 vs a rag sprayed with water. For the long haul, might take even less time as one dosen't need to wipe down the dash/doors as offen when using 303 vs water.

It never stops as far as I can tell. 75k+ miles and 5.5 years and the film still returns. I recently tried 303 but haven't really seen that it has made much of a difference over water or some other cleaner.

BTW, Ace Hardware usually carries Aerospace 303.

Try Mink Oil. If that doesn't do it, then I would say that you have used cleaners so much that you have rubbed the color out of the material.
