Seat Conversion on '08 JSB Convertible
After renting a 2012 convertible Corvette on vacation last March, I decided I liked the seats better than the ones that came stock in my '08 3LT convertible. I bought the seat conversion kit to the '12 seats from Parts Taxi back in April or May and just got around to doing the conversion. Here are some before and after pics.

Very nice - want to do this to mine as well.
Are the wrinkles from "newness", or is there not enough internal material to fill out the skins?
Nice color combo too.

If the OP will massage the wrinkled areas and leave the car outside in the sun/heat during the day, eventually the seat skins will tighten up and the wrinkles will go away.
Mine had a few slight wrinkles but they pretty much went away in a few weeks. Mine did not have the wrinkles in the shoulder areas though.
OP, the 2 tone seats look good.

I think it is obvious that you need to add more padding in certain places, but you'd have to do it just right. Scary to think you'd be stuck with that Grandma look ...

The wrinkles were from newness and the side bolsters not being inflated. Most of the wrinkles are gone now. I really love the look of the seats and think the suede inserts are a big improvement.

I did mine a.few months ago. I had upholstery shop do mine (cost $150). Mine had no wrinkles.
If you want to see pics, they are on a thread I started a while back, so I won't post them again.
