60th anniversary grand sports
have a indentation on drivers side 16 inches down, it looks like a depression, they say I am the first to notice it. anyone else seen this or had a replacement hood as a result

it is wear the latch is on the left side and where they glue the roof together just picked up a Museum last week, noticed it on way home left side only. Dealer checked their inventory and everyone had the same indentation. Not sure how they are going to handle it yet, real noticeable when in dirvers seat.

He did say "replacement hood" in his first post guys! And in his second post he said "noticeable in drivers seat", that to me says hood! TK did the dealer check all cars or just GS's?

Grand Sports 2012 and 2013 said they glue the HOOD and press down at that area according to the tech there at the dealership, they are to notify GM this week someone there was on vacation. I went to the dealership and the indentation or flat spot was on there cars in stock. very noticeable even though they say no one has ever mentioned it before.

It's a 1000 better to start threads like this with a picture . Checked my 100th (CE) and looks perfect. I assume the 'indentation' is to the left of where the hood 'dome' seam is, right? Will wait for the picture. But if it's that obvious, it's incredible to me where the hell is quality control at GM. it's absolutely incredible to me something as bad as that can evade so many people. And not just one car, which would be a fluke. But LOTS of cars. And don't forget artificial lighting makes it much easier to see defects like that. Geez.
