Oil question................................ .
OK, another oil question and thought I would ask the guys I trust the most about this kinda stuff. Since I have gotten use to using full synthetic oil in the Corvette, I was thinking about using full synthetic in our daily drivers. Are there any negative consequences changing to a full synthetic oil on engines that have been using a synthetic blend?
Thanking you in advance..

I went that route (blend to fully synthetic) and have no regrets but that I did not do it sooner. I take longer intervals between changes which helps defray the additional cost of full synthetic. (I believe you could go back to a blend if you really wanted to, but why?)

It turns out, that using Mobil 1 in my daughter's 2.4 L Ecotec Chevrolet Colbalt is a good thing, because she likes to ignore the "Change Oil Soon" message. I think Mobil 1 gives the engine a little bit of an "edge" for when she goes into overtime.

I recall hearing somewhere that if you break an engine in with synthetic you shouldn't change to non-synthetic but if you start off with non then you can go back and forth should you choose. Not sure if that is another wives tale or not.

Whitey, my little Ford Ranger, now has Corvette blood in him (Mobil 1)
Since it has no oil life monitor, would the same oil change intervals apply of about 7500 miles or once a year with the Mobil 1?
To keep this thread C6 related, had to move my car out of the garage to change oil on my truck. Took a pic, I thought it looked pretty good parked safely out in the yard.

It should not be a problem, unless they are quite old. I have used Mobil 1 in all our cars for thirty years. The only potential problem would come with seals/gaskets that are old and dependent on non-synthetic oil to have them "swell" into place.
