Crazy things you do when your spouse (wife) isn't home?
So I'm sitting on the couch with a beer in on hand wondering this. Why? Because currently my wife is out of town and earlier today I took some VHT ceramacoat and painted my x-pipe for the system I'm about to install.
Skip ahead a few hours. The paint has dried and now what do you do when you coat something? Bake it. So parts are in the oven right now baking and the house smells horrible.
I'm certain my wife would kill me if she was here. Oh well, I got two more days hope the smell is gone by then.
I can't be the only one doing stuff like this so lets hear it.

So, when you are done baking your x-pipe, bake some pilsbury cookies to cover the smell.

Do yourself a faver. Go out and buy the wife a new stove. Thanksgiving will never taste the same. Take the old stove out to the garage and start a side job doing POWDERCOATING.

Well, when I go ice fishing the covering on the portable fish house gets all wet and frosty and in a cold winter time garage they don't dry out.
And that would explain why when wifey comes home from work she finds a portable fish house set up in the family room next to the fireplace in winter.
She just doesn't understand, they need to dry out.

Long ago I had an 84 Tornado with fake 'wire' wheel covers. Never could get them clean behind those 'wires'. I pulled one off and took it to the dishwasher. It wouldn't go inside. But it if had, those 4 covers would have been run thru there.
I had several beat up 64 Corvette wheel covers, the ones with 'spinner' centers. 4 screws held them on and they transferred exactly to the Tornado wheel covers, which had a solid chrome cap. A solid black (no vinyl roof for me) 84 Tornado with a hood you could land an aircraft on, with fake wire wheel covers (these were stock covers) with 64 Corvette spinners. I got as many comments about how good that car looked as most of my Corvettes.

What do I do when the wife's away, why the girlfriend of course!!! Just kidding, I only have a GF and no wifey but when the GF is away I get done all the stuff I'd otherwise have to ask her opinion on, this way my OCD self gets it done my way!!
