Master Blaster - Poll (How Do You Dry Your Car?)
We've all seen the Master Blaster (reversed vacuum) wall mounted drying system advertised on the forum for years.
HOW DO YOU DRY YOUR CAR?
1) Use Master Blaster
2) Electric Leaf Blower
3) Gas Powered Leaf Blower
4) Hand Dry With Towel/Chamois

Electric leaf blower. The neighbors already suspected I was crazy.
I never liked the idea of the Master Blaster having heat. The whole idea of heat is to get the water to evaporate which is what causes water spots. That never made sense to me. I just blow the water off and touch up with a microfiber cloth.

Leaf blower to remove the majority of the water, then a fine mist of Adams Detail spray and a micro fiber waffle drying towel.

I don't suggest using a gas powered blower as they emit oil/fumes that could get on your car.
Another great use for a leaf blower is for blowing out the interiors on your car! Work great actually.

We have really hard water down here in florida. The ONE time I used a master blaster/leaf blower to dry the car, it was a nightmare. Even though I was in the shade, the whole process - blower, outdoor heat, etc. - left water spots.
I tried to wipe the spots off within minutes, but they didn't come off.
I literally had to use a polish to get them off.

Gas blower and then soft car only special towels. Oop vette only towels, there are other towels for the other cars. Same blower for all cars. I can not justify money for the blaster thing, it just doesn't make logical sense to me. Hot air makes water spots.

Use my shop compressor to dry off my rims and get the water out of mirrors, tail lights, etc. I quickly go over the car with the compressed air and then I MF dry with drying towels. Works well for me, no spots and car looks great. I use Black Fire products for detailing including their gloss car shampoo... I love this stuff.
