About halfway thru with my install on the interior lights. Did the driver's side footwell and took out the black panel with a panel remover. Can the footwell lights be replaced just by popping out the lens with a screw driver, or must the entire panel be removed?
Thanks. Great mod by the way.

I just put mine in, made a nice difference. Just looks newer... you never realize how yellow the other lights are until you throw LED's in. For the rear view mirror, I didn't have any kite string or anything but I did have some weed eater/whacker string and used that. It was super easy, I think the thickness of the weed whacker string helped... I just lasso'd the light and when I went to tighten it, the thicker line itself pushed the lights out. The first one came out so easy, I was like "great, this next one is going to make me pay" but it came out just as easy. Those two were actually the quickest/easiest to change.

I recently installed a set of the BLUE interior LED lights. I agree that they are not real bright, BUT, I think they look great just as they are, perfect amount of light. I wouldn't want them any brighter. I did not install the glove box light because I do want a brighter light in there (personal preference). Just a note for future potential buyers...if you don't want the license plate light to be blue (or what ever color you're dealing with), make a note somewhere. I did not because I "assumed" that license plate lights would come white, I was wrong...again.

Got these for free (points!) on account of the fact I spent so much money at CorvetteMods Looking forward to installing them (I picked the red option- since red doesn't destroy night vision like white does- not because I particularly favor red over white.. Though I imagine it'll look great).

I am considering ordering this package. I notice that there is an "extra white" version of these for an extra $14.99. Did anyone order these and does anyone know how they are compared to ordering the standard kit?
