C6 glove compartment latch
I broke the glove compartment (plastic)latch yesterday. Is it a simple latch replacement or do I need to replace the entire glove compartment door?

Lots of posts on this. About $50 part from dealer. Keep the lock/tumbler as that does not need to be replaced and allows you to use same key as you have now. Ask dealer how to remove tumbler as it is a little tricky.

Do a search. There are a few different post on this issue. Seems it happens more to the Cashmere interiors.

Search is your friend. I was able to repair the crapulant GM plastic with some JB Weld and a bit of a paper clip. Has held up so far. Beats paying $50-60 for replacement that will just break again.
