Man, this sounds awesome. I'd love to drive your track.... Unfortunately, its a bit of a haul from NY, specially in December... Wish i was closer! Best of luck with the event.

Some questions-
- Can we rent helmets? Are there helmets for purchase on-site?
- Can we have passengers for some driving events?
- I saw
"The price for the full event is only $250. That includes 2 days
of driving activities with entrance to the Show and Shine Competition
for 1 car, (two People), plus dinner on Saturday night at the track."
$250 is for dinner for 2 people?
- Do you offer car insurance for purchase?
- Is there an FAQ link?

I'd need to add a few days for travel time and that might not happen.

Is there much of anything to occupy spouses who aren't participating?

I don't care about the show part, but that's no big deal.
They can ride with you, watch from anywhere they'd like or if they get overloaded on Corvettes, (pshh, as if that's possible), they can utilize the Spa right across the street!

It's only 45 minutes away from me but my son will be on break from medical school and spending some time with me.
Routine maintenance. Wouldn't be a bad idea to have fresh fluids but you won't have to do anything more than you would before a long road trip or day through the mountains.

I had a blast with you guys last year, during my 2 day ZR1 course. Top notch instruction, and a terrific atmosphere.
Anyone considering it should really try to make it!
Hey! Long time no see! Yeah, we're a bit of a drive for you for this one. Might be nice to get down to warmer weather though!

You'd have to check with your insurance for a special insurance, but no, we don't offer any insurance for your vehicle. Our track is very forgiving and you would just need to find your comfort level and stick to it.

Q: Can we rent helmets? Are there helmets for purchase on-site?
A: We will have helmets available for your use on-site, but not for sale.

Q: Can we have passengers for some driving events?
A: Yes.

A: Yes, the dinner is included for 2 people in that $250.

Q: Do you offer car insurance for purchase?
A: No, we don't offer insurance for your vehicles. You'd want to check with your insurance agency to see if there's any arrangements that can be made if you'd like to pursue that.

Q: Is there an FAQ link?
A: No, but I'm pretty sure you just created one! Let me know if you have any other questions or call directly and ask!

EDIT: Just saw your reply on my car show post haha

EDIT # 2 - Can we split the driving between two people? Say myself and significant other? Obviously not on the same courses/events... but I do one course/ event and she do another?

Yes! I'll be up at the Prescott Show next weekend. The weather was SO nice last year for it and it's a great event. Gets bigger every year too.

As for splitting the events, we'll allow that. We wouldn't recommend having one person do lead on follow on the bondurant track and then the other person do the open track on that same track, as you wouldn't know it well enough. But over two days there's a lot you can split up, definitely.

I can attest that the track is very forgiving. Chances are you end up in the dirt if you lose it. I did when on that track. Just remember "when in spin, both feet in".

There's really only one section where you cross the 1/4 mile track that would punish you for being overly aggressive. Their track rules, if followed, prevent this stuff from happening though.

this sounds like so much fun. I just wish it was in the cards for me right now The whole reason I bought a Z06 was because of driving one on that track.

Johnny O wanted me to post something directly from his mouth, so here it is!

"I would like to personally invite all Corvette owners to come and enjoy what I know will be an amazing two days at the Bondurant School. You'll be given the chance to see how athletic your car really is, receive world class instruction, and then be entertained with stories from myself and Doug Fehan. Things that we would never say to the press! Hope to see you there."

Wondering if all 200 spots are not filled up with Vettes if a former vette guy can come out with his Supra and play?

Unfortunately not. It's ONLY Corvettes. If you're a former Corvette guy then convince a friend to come out with theirs. The $250 covers the car and two drivers, so you could both get some seat time!

Default I can't wait!

I am signed up and ready to go. I will be bringing my 9 year old C5 6spd daily driver to this event. I happen to be a 47 year old woman with only a few Bondurant Courses under my belt. I will be bringing my son, who happens to be turning 25 on December 8th. He has VERY little experience driving a manual, but I am going to let him figure it out in my car. So, any concerns about being the slowest, or least experienced should not concern any of you! Sign up, pay the fee, come join us and be prepared to learn A LOT! This is a GREAT time! I hope to see you all there.

Be prepared for some competition on the AutoCross!

P.S. For the gentleman that asked about something for his wife to do, if she is bored, there is a casino just a bit from the track and there is plenty of shopping not too far away. The School has a museum, a store, and lots of fun people working for them, not to mention that we won't ALL be driving at the same time...

Hey everybody!
We still have plenty of spots available and Johnny really wants to get you guys out here! We're going to start giving some stuff away with some trivia questions as well.

Johnny says:
"Few Corvette owners ever get the opportunity to experience what amazing cars they own. I look forward to teaching and showing everyone just what a world class sports car the Corvette really is, and letting them truly understand why, for the past 12 years, Corvette racing has led the world."

Let us know if you have any questions and make sure to book your spot for two days of all Corvette action!

Do you have any sound restrictions? I've been measured at 104 db at WOT in 3rd gear coming out of a turn.

If we had a track out there to make that happen, we would! This is our first and we'll see how it goes; perhaps we'll start doing them in other places as well, you never know. Drive the Vette out here for the event! I just drove a 2013 GS to Florida and back last week... It's a beautiful drive! The directions from anywhere in the south are easy: Get on I-10 West and then make a left at Bondurant when you get to PHX.

I can make some sort of arrangements for people that drive really far to get here... Some free Swag to the person that comes the furthest from Corvette Forum?
