Default Funfest

I saw the ZR1 thread but wondering who else is going to Mid America Motorworks Funfest in Effingham, Illinois this week? This will be my first time there.

Hope those wheels work, too bad you couldn't get what you really wanted. We enjoyed meeting you and your group, it made the weekend more fun. Will be looking for those pics.

Noticed a chart in the catalog stating that my car should have +79s. Called Monday and had them verify. The "expert" told me wrong, we had the correct wheels ordered all along. Decided to stay with the spyders though. Should have shipped out today.

Wow! So much for experts sometimes, glad you caught it now. I guess there are times where you are too busy, every one there seemed a little stressed but nice.

Vicki and I had a great time. The Mid America crew really do an outstanding job and if you didn't have fun, then you need to find another hobby.

Great cars, great weather and great people!

My wife and I made the trip to Effingham from west of St. Louis on Saturday - our first visit. We had such fun. Before all was said an done, we drove home with all sorts of goodies for us and highlights on our C6. Her one question on the ride home Saturday night was, "Did I drool too much today?" I had to admit, "I know, I did!"

To all the folks we met, we look forward to seeing you again next year, if not sooner!

Looks great Bill, goes good with the new brakes. Did you get the brakes to work as you wanted?

Thanks Joe. I'm starting to get used to the difference in pedal, brakes are acceptable but not as good as origional. I had hoped for better. Had the fluid flushed and replaced with DOT 4. I thought maybe they just needed more bleeding but it didn't change anything. I have never had ceramic pads before, maybe that's paart of it.
