Default ah....

Thanks again.... I kind of felt a Delorean was like a boat... "The 2 happiest days of a boat owner's life... the day they buy it and the day they sell it"... I am thinking... I will have some fun in the middle...

Ok, joking done with, that is a classic car.
Speaking of classics, when the 62 Boat Tail came out, I said, "I want one of those"
I still want one, but I'm happy with my 2012 GS.
And yes, the top does drop, wouldn't have it any other way.

Yep, you've lost it. Being "sane" is over rated and boring. Drop an LS9 in it, do a few tweaks here and there and she'll run with the best! Thanks for the pics!

Theoretically if it has a 2.8 it could fit a 4.3...maybe an LSX?

Well... they are in CA, WA, IL, TX and FL, maybe other places.. they fix, support, and sell SHOP cars, as well as the MAKE new cars, at about 20 a year... with new old parts... it seems they only made about 9000 cars total,,, and there are parts to make 30,000... the DMC people are really great people to deal with... so.. yes... Dealers..

The guy who started the Delorean company purchased all the parts that were in the Ireland plant where the original Delorean's were built. I'm glad they are keeping the Delorean alive. I guess you can equip your DMC-12 with modern parts like navigation, and you can get turbo's on the engine to get more horsepower is 130 isn't enough for you

I've always wanted to add one of those to my garage. And then I see the prices they still go for, remember they have no performance, and to make a BTTF car i will need to spend at least another $10k. LOL

Be safe......when you hit 88 mph you dont know where you will end up.

If its a country road I am betting a ditch or 1776 with Sir Thomas Jefferson on your way to France.

Good luck with the Frenchies.

Cool cars, but I would never buy one for more than $1,500.

Yea, I think he's thinking of the 2.8/4.3 GM V6s like the ones in an S10 or something.

the DMC-12 motor was a Renault/Volvo piece.
