I'm tired of Blk And Silver Vettes
I'm looking at selling my C5 but I've had a Blk C4 and the thing worked me to death so no more Blk cars and Silver is just boring to me. I have a Mag Red C5 now so I don't really want another red on but the number of Blk and Silver cars out there is just crazy. I wanted Atomic Orange but they are hard to find so I'm leaning towards Le man Blue (its growing on me a lot) but wanted to know if anyone else felt the same way about Silver and blk. Hey don't get me wrong Blk is super but as stated had one and it's just WAY too much work.

Well you say you don't want another red Vette, but don't you know "All Corvette's are Red, the Rest are Mistakes".
Just kidding of course. You did not mention what year you are looking at and the LeMans Blue was offered up through the 2007 model year. In 2008 they offered Jet Stream Blue and I love that color.
I just moved up from a C5 to my C6 and ended up with a Monterey Red coupe. I too said no more red after my last two were red, but the Monterey Red is a great color and in the three years it was offered they only produced just under 11,000. I know that does not mean much, but compared to Machine Silver or black it is less.
Besides it is the exact same color as my wife's 2010 GMC Acadia including the interior. So they look good sitting in the garage side by side.

You should consider Jet Stream Blue metallic. It's not a color your going see often on the streets, and when you do, you'll notice a bit more than the usual colors. It was only produced for two years and not many were produced.

I agree Black is great looking but takes a lot of work to keep it that way. As for Silver my least favorite for a Vette, although I would take it over Yellow.

Red is not 100% out of the question but I just wanted something different I've had a Grey 74, Blk 84 and now this mag red C5 so I always look to change things up but like I said my blk one was just a killer as we all know to work with and silver just does nothing for me but there just seems to be a million of them for sale.

Silver is my favorite and very easy to care for.

A buddy of mine just got a Yellow Vert with a blk top and I didn't think i'd like it when he told me but it's a really nice looking car when you see it.

I can understand that I was just shocked at how much I did like it once I got to hang out with it for a while. I do agree, I'm not sure how i'd feel about it in a year or so but to me the Blk top sets the car off and makes it stand out. An all yellow one I don't think I could take at all.

We all like different colors. Black Vettes look just mean when they're cleaned up. Silver is easier to maintain.
I'm not looking at either color for the Vette I buy, but they don't look bad imo.

Le Mans Blue is as dark a color as there is no?
Probably not a huge difference in maintenance over black.

VY for the win!
Fast cars should stand out and VY stands out!
Silver I just can't stand in any vehicle. I like black as that is my civic's color. But I see so many black vettes... and most are now going the "blacked out" route. Yuck in my book.

I like ALL Vettes. Since mine is silver, gotta love it. I had a rally yellow Camaro with black stripes which I loved prior to the Vette. I would have gotten a yellow Vette but didn't find one at the right price while looking.
They're all good! I have NO regrets with the Silver and as the others have said, very easy to take care of......even easier than my yellow was which for me was low maintenance.

I guess that is why they come in more than just one color. I have said if Corvettes only came in yellow I wouldn’t own one.

LBM over gray was my number one choice when searching for vettes. I don't think it's as bad as black to take care of but close. I wouldn't want it for a DD because it does show the dirt easier than other colors.
