Although many fender & hood emblems are available, not many I like. And even less than that at a reasonable price.
I want something classic looking. Kind of old school, like the "427" emblems on the 2013 that look great!
But most of the LS3 & Z51 stuff is so Euro esh.

This is an interesting topic. You see I just moved up to a 2007 Monterey Red coupe about a month ago. I am the third owner. one of the past owners spent a lot of money on it. They had the wide body rear portion done, added a set of black chrome Z06 wheels with the rears being 12", painted the calipers in the Monterey Red, installed American Racing headers, K&N Carbon Fiber air filter setup and had the FRC painted to match the car.
Now here is the interesting part. They put on the Z51 fender badges. That was going to be one of the first things to do to the car was to remove them. I mean what with the wide body mod and the Z06 style wheels, I just thought it looked more like it was being passed off as a Z06 from a distance anyway.
Well I guess it is like they say here a lot. People will make statements on the internet that they won't to your face. I have said that I will be removing these badges and not one person and almost everyone is a Z06 owner or a C6 owner has said they agree. Everyone one said leave them, the car is a Z51 so they are correct, even though they are not factory. What about the owners that do the complete wide body of a Z06, or ZR1. Or the ones that add the ZR1 rear spoiler or the front splitter.

While I wish this conversation would go the hell away already, it seems it never will so I'll throw this in to complicate things.....this is an "option" too....
and as to the whole "1LT, 2LT" joke.....
This is also not a dedicated model....
You Z06 guys need to chill out a little...
My fender badges aren't even denoting a factory option....just a mod.

Thanks, but I am well aware it is an option, as is the 3LT, U3U, C2L and the 80U. It was a simple omission on my part, but I see what you are saying.
