Just Cruise

I got a c6z06 with these black spyders on it that came with the car. I am not sure if i like so i ordered chrome spyders to take its place. I have always liked chrome. I do like the 360 forgeline black rims with colored lips but $6000 for them no thanks. I got a pair of brand new oem spyders for $1000 mint. What are all your opionions would be nice to see who prefers black vs chrome or brushed alluminum.

Black rims on other than a black car looks like spare tires. Can you tell I'm a silver or chrome guy?

I like them on the darker colors, the lighter colored cars look better with chrome/gray.

black rims don't do it for me. i hate caring for chrome and feel silver looks great and is super easy to clean

My vote is for brushed aluminum even though I have matte black centers for my 360 forged wheels

Black wheels with the exception of black chrome look like sh&t. nothing looks cooler than a chrome wheel IMO.

Not sure I would call it the new look, as it has been out there for sometime now. I do think that black wheels on a black car that is lowered and maybe set up with a nice front splitter and ZR1 style spoiler can look real aggressive. On other colors not so much. I know there are a lot of black wheel lovers out there, but nit me. I just moved up from a Torch Red D5 that I had C6 Z06 chrome wheels on. The C6 I just got has Z06 black chrome and I like the look of these on the Monterey Red.

I don't care for black wheels on most cars.
I have chrome on my '08, but not by choice. I like the brushed aluminum look.
It's certainly a personal matter.

Given the choice I would go with chrome. Seen some black wheels with the painted lips that look good but to me chrome looks better.
