Vibration at 4k RPM
2005 C6 Z51 6MT. I have a vibration when at full throttle around 4,000rpms. It only happens in gear. I have replaced the clutch/flywheel. Torque tube couplers and bearings. And had to replace the right rear CV axle after I snapped it in half. I believe it started this weird vibration right after I snapped the cv axle in half. I broke the axle when I downshifted to 2nd gear and wheel hopped on my first track day. Anyone know if this is a common issue? Thanks.
So obvious u tried to slowly press pedal to 4k and it does not vibrate??
It does vibrate around 4k rpm even when slowly pressing the pedal
Where do u feel the vibration??[/QUOTE
Feels like its coming from the rear/directly under the seat.

Torque tube could be bent. I bent mine in my C5 and the first time I noticed it was when the rpm's got around in that range. Felt like someone was under my seat banging under the car. My bearings were fine, the torque tube was bent from countless launches at the track with a twin disc clutch that was almost impossible to slip.
Don't do this if ur not comfortable .safely get the tires off the ground . Take off tires and see what happens. I have no problem doing for the past 20yrs. But again don't do this if ur not comfortable. Or take it to a place that's willing to do this. Ur running out of options. Next step, start tearing in to it. Hopefully something will show its ugly face, so don't look in the mirror.
