Default Pulled the trigger

After hours at the computer learning as much as I could about Corvettes, lousy seats, Cobalt steering wheels, jacking pucks and Zaino (thank you Wolfdog) I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a 2013 GS in Cyber Grey, 4LT in ebony w/ titanium stitching, NPP, F55, ZR1 spoiler AND I ordered from John Caravaggio, Daytona seats with carbon fiber shells in leather and Alcantara along with a new complete D shaped steering wheel and horn cover, also in leather and Alcantara. Should be a hell of Thanksgiving!

Thanks to you all. You'll be the first to hear about it when my harmonic balancer goes out.

Greg

Sounds like you gave it a lot of thought and made some excellent choices. I too had aftermarket parts ordered and on hand before my new C6 was delivered. Enjoy!

I've been thinking about this for so long it doesn't seem that way. But, I totally get what you mean.

To be honest when I saw that the seats were on sale from Caravaggio that is what pushed me to finally order the car. And then I thought I might as well get the steering wheel too. What the heck.

I think you're worrying much too much. But thanks for stimulating the economy. And congrats on a beautiful ride.

Yes, I was just kidding about all the threads that go downhill. I feel pretty confident in the bullet proofness of the car.

Best,
Greg

Getting lower trim level and skipping the seats and steering wheel would get you a Z06 but each to their own After owning a 3LZ Z06, I would invest in a dashboard cover if you intend to leave your car out in a sun, that leather GM used on the dash and door panels did not gain my confidence. Congrats on the car nevertheless

Yes, much debating about New GS vs Used Z06. Decided I wanted the great seats and steering wheel and the leather interior and New. I'm currently driving a '99 Miata, which has been a great car for the last 13 years, so going from 140 bhp to 436 bhp is a good next step. Maybe my next car will be the Z or maybe something else, who knows, the world is filled with many choices. Car will be in the garage when not driven, thanks for the advice.

Best,
Greg
