Default Chuck Cow Tune.....my experience

Hi all,
I have been driving around for about three weeks with Chuck's latest tune.
It is pretty awesome. I also have the throttle enhancement mod too. I have Seen a solid 1 mpg improvement in town. I have an 06 C6 A6 with the tranny tune too. Car just drives awesome. I live in Iowa so, I won't get to drive it in the winter. So, I am racking up as many miles as possible now.

Hope all of you have a safe holiday, this is a great forum to learn about our cars and find vendors that make them even more enjoyable.

It makes the HP available at the low end so in effect you do gain HP at the low end.

Default i dont get it

Everyone seems to be happy with the tune and with Chuck. I don't get it. He is Definetely a slick salesman. But after months of waiting I can't comment on the quality of the tune. I am out. Any suggestions for where else I can go for a tune. All I really need is a tune for the A4 trans.

I take it you are waiting on the autocal to install the tune, I know he recently released a new version of the autocal, seems like you should have got it by now have you called him on the phone?

I called a few times and gave up....then I saw he charges the cc at time of order. Waiting for months after being charged is not what I am used to from good vendors. I am sure I am an isolated case. Luckily Visa does not allow charging without shipping unless the vendor specifically tells you the card will be charged. I really still need to get the A4 shift points fixed.....

I am not happy with chuck. He will not take my calls or answer email or even a private message from the forum.

It took me 4 months to get my auto cal and two more to get my tunes finished.

I do like my tunes but am not impressed with chuck's professionalism. It was a long and painful process.

You can do the math, 6 months!! Unacceptable!

For those of you that got your tune in a timely fashion, I'm sure you don't have anything bad to say but please don't chastise me or make excuses for him. Yes I'm sure he is busy but that is no excuse for poor customer support.

I'm sure there are others like me out there that don't want to make waves while waiting on their autocals or tunes, good luck gentlemen.

: crazy2:

No, you don't gain any HP. Your car simply feels faster sooner b/c the TP was adjusted. That's all.

Yeh it appears some have put a new spin on HP and fuel consumption/mpg. Pretty sad and pathetic.
