Road Rash
Any recommendations to protect the front end and windshield from road rash as a daily driver. I do mostly freeway on the way to work and have to deal with a lot of commercial vehicles throwing all kinds of crap. I do my best to stay away from them but sometimes it can't be advoided. My windshield seems to take the brute of it all! Sometimes it is like little missiles streaking the windshield.

Windshields are at risk with no ideea on how to protect those.

I protect my front end with an application of 3M's clear bra. The application covers the front end as far back as the top of the head lights. It also covers the leading side of both rear view mirrors. Not cheap but protects against a lot of road rash material. (Large rocks, etc. are still to big to protect against.)

Ditto on the clear bra, and same for the windshield comments. I'm on my second one and it has a number of small chips that are too small to be repaired but when looking into the sun are quite visible.

They make a film for windshields also. Night Shades in St.Louis can get you one. Let him know Seth sent you.

I was never keen on wrapping my car in 'Saran Wrap' but a clear bra will help protect the finish. Short of buying clear tear-off's for your windshield I highly recommend you carry full glass coverage on your auto insurance policy....other than the small, additional premium there's no cost....no deductible when replacing auto glass.

As said above, it will not protect against large objects. Nothing will unless you drive a tank, or want to have a real bra up front all the time. Get some 3M film installed (do the entire hood) and relax a bit.

Speed Lingerie Bra Cover as it will match color of your car and protect the fog lights and the radiator condensor. It can take a hit from a heavy rock unlike other products because the material is thick. This will pay for itself over years of usage.
