If we don't have so much stuff in the trunk, and can put the targa top in there, flipping the bumper protector forward can also protect the underside of the top from being scratched by the luggage.

I remember when I could fit all of my worldly possessions in a car. The good ol days - indeed. Today, i would need several full sized moving vans. Moving, for me, would be a total hassle.

The trunk in my 08 is HUGE, but then again......I learned and lived with the storage area of a 96 Coupe for 12 years, so anything would seem big.

I take both of my dogs (50 & 80 pounds) to the park all the time to let them run off a leash. People question me all the time about how I manage to get both dogs in the back of the car. They love it back there, especially if the top is off.

this is so very true! I have managed to carry a ton of stuff including a kitchen island in the back of my trunk with the hatch closed...it's pretty amazing

Ive fit two large suitcases, two sets of golf clubs, a ice chest, five pairs of shoes and a two bags of food items on my last vacation. Proper stowage was a key, but it all fit (barely)

When I was looking to replace my Porsche 944T, the Vette came out on top for this very reason. I was considering Nissan 370Z and Porsche Cayman.

I go fishing a lot in Santa Cruz. I required that I could get all my gear and more into whatever I bought. Didn't want to have to take the Jeep over the nice twisty mountain road. I don't usually need to bring it, but I had my 100 qt cooler (just fits) back there along with other gear the other day.

That sounds fun . . . but I think it might get a little hot back there for my dog. That, and no window to hang her head out of.

Haven't taken a road trip in mine yet, but I did fill the back with tons of groceries today because I was too lazy to take my other car and stop at the gas station first. People gave me some strange looks, then realized I probably had more room to spare than they did in their Civics and Focuses.

my mobile detailing box/setup fit with 1/16 of an inch to spare.
my water hose rode shotgun everything else in the back (had to take the wheels off of my shopvac to get it to fit)
