Question at a stoplight.

You did good. I would have said wider body and stronger suspension with GS but MOTOR is the same. I love the Base car which is a "Best Buy" IMO. Would like to see a power boost above Base in the GS to make the additional GS goodies matter.

I have been thinking this and honestly think the GS should get its own engine.
Give the base the 6.2 that is torque and keep the Z06 with its monster 7.0 litre and leave the ZR1 with its boosted 6.2. Perhaps give the GS the 5.5 that is out there and let it rev to 8k.
I think it would be kind of cool.

I have had this question before around non vette owners after they read grand sport on the car and have no idea what it means... all I point out is the wider body, the tires, some 'gills' on the front, and tell them that the roof comes off.
maybe get one of these, and then give a different answer? http://www.westcoastcorvette.com/p-3...-dry-sump.aspx

Not a bad response. Reminds me of the time the guy behind me got out of his car at a light to come up to my door & ask me what kind of car I had. This was when I had my Genesis Coupe. I remove the GC badging & also yanked the rear H in favor of the wing badge.
