The Machined Face Competition Gray Cup Wheels (Q8K) which are standard on the 427 Convertible are indeed a very nice wheel, but they are not my favorite. I prefer the Machined Face Cup Wheels (Q5V) however they are not available to be ordered on the 427 Convertible, and they are limited to the ZR1 or the Z06 but only if the Z06 has the Z07 or the ZLC package. And depending upon the car I may also prefer the ZR1 chrome wheels.

I see nothing on my order sheet stating the Machined-Faced Cup Style Lightweight Aluminum Wheels (Q8K) being GRAY? I thought I ordered what is shown in the posted photograph... I don't see any gray on that wheel unless I'm missing something?

What exactly are these? Q5V's?
I can't tell if this is a 60th Anniversary ZR-1 or Z-06, however they do look gray. It looks like I need to verify with the dealer. It's beer thirty.

I just bought a 427 vert and pick it up next monday. I looked at the black wheels and while they wont show the dirt or brake dust too bad, once I saw the chrome zr1 wheels that was it for me. A lot of spokes on the zr1 to clean but the chrome looks best on a crm 427 vert.

These are bad a$$ wheels!

I agree with you about the wheels! I like the Competition Gray...

I have to vote the Spyders first in Comp Grey and second choice would be chrome.

I do understand that this very "feature" may be what makes others like them so much.
I'm glad we have a lot of choices so we can all think we have the catsass of wheels.
You have a point their. They are visually missing the wheel hub.
