Need to see it all together, kind of hard to envision sitting on a workbench. Subscribed and waiting for finished pics.

Looks great, but it's not the first http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-z...in-my-z06.html .
Supervettes has a version in the works too. Yours looks a lot closer to stock than the other one. If I may ask, how difficult was it to make? Great job

Looks cool so far. I'm not trying to be rude, but being someone that has never desired an Ipad in my dash what's the appeal other than being able so say you've got an Ipad in your dash?

Crazy Skills there OP, look forward to seeing how it works. Please give us a full breakdown as to music, video, sound and control.
Seems other cool devices could be added in the same way ...

The one in the post you linked to seem to be vertical instead of horizontal and had to remove his climate controls. Also seems like this member has installed an amp of some sort to power the speakers. It would not be a trivial matter getting sound out of the iPad and sent to the bose speakers.
This project looks fantastic. PLEASE continue to post pics!!! I'd really like to see the completed install. Any technical specs, parts, etc. would be awesome too!

Come on guys, let's not nit pick some guys work over a 1/4". It's pretty rude to instantly knock a guy down for a PERCEIVED flaw. I'd be willing to bet it's off center so he can attach an iPad connector to the "bottom" of the iPad (you'll notice the home button on the left side, where the extra space exists). Looks like this would be routed to the amp at the bottom of the pic so he can play music from it. When one removes the head unit you lose the amp to all the speakers.
First thing I noticed (besides the iPad) awas the amp at the bottom.
Great job!
