Best place is a sporting goods store that sells hockey pucks. Then make your own with some easily attainable eyebolts.

Second best is the BMW pucks but they are expensive.

For precautions on lifting, RTFM. GM knows more about how to lift the car than anyone else.

If you jack the car correctly you don't need them.

That's what my dealer said when I asked about them.

You may get lots of folks on here who will say never jack a C6 with out the pucks and that's fine but I know I have jacked mine up dozens of times with out them, just make sure your jack fit's into the correct spot and you will be fine.
If you let a tire shop or mechanic jack your car I would make sure that they know how to do it correctly first, that seems to be where most of the damage happens when someone turns the car over to a shop and they jack it up with out knowing how.

Question...When I had my 2004 Vette I ordered jacking pads from Bavarian Autosport. (Part # 51 71 1 960 752)
Now I have a 2013 coupe on order. Would I order the same part number for my 2013 as I did for my 2004? If not does anyone know the correct part number from Bavarian Autosport?

+1 on making your own. Do a search and you'll get the size of eyebolt you need with the hockey pucks. You can purchase used training hockey pucks cheap, or just get pucks off of eBay. I think they go for around $25

They also sell the leave in place jacking pucks from many of the forum vendors. They are more expensive but I've not heard a bad word about them from anybody yet.
