Installed my splitter!
Hey gents, so I finally got around to putting on the front splitter. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be. It mounts very solid and fits really well. Ground clearance now SUCKS as you can tell by the first photo.... that is how I pull in and out of my driveway! Theres no more than a 1/4 and you have to get it just right or you will scrape... ugh. Sorry for the crappy photos... didnt want to pull out the other camera!
Ill snap some better photos when I get the car on level ground!

Looks good. That would be my only concern, scraping all the time. How did it mount? Did it require any drilling? Also is that the OEM color? <--- meaning is that the color the splitter comes when ordered?

Just like with the sideskirts I did have to drill I drilled the required holes and then between the splitter and the car I put this black foam rubber to guard against any sort of rubbing....
It came in a black primer... I just took a can of black spray paint and put down a couple coats, wet sanded smooth, couple more coats, wet sanded smooth, couple more coats, wet sanded smooth, and then used turtle wax polish. I did the same for my rear diffuser. Its black and has some shine to it but its not glossy... you cant see your reflection in it. Came out really well....

Looks good but this is why i won't get one, too easy to scrape it and my car is already lowered, even without the splitter my stock splitter scrapes but that is cheap so can easily be replaced.
I just settled for the ZR1 spoiler for now

Don't those stick out more than the stock spoiler? I've scraped/rubbed my stock one on the pavement multiple times now. I would like to have the aftermarket one, but I would have it broke in no time.

Good job on the install....it should help with 'stability' and it looks great! That does look like a 'tight fit' in and out of the driveway...be careful. Aero improvements are long overdue on my car but I hope to do them soon. When I get a splitter on the front I'll have to put some risers on my trailer to elevate the front wheels a bit. If not I'm going to hit the splitter tightening the ratchet straps.
