NPP dual mode exhaust control options?
I believe there's a few options to control the NPP dual mode exhaust?
Opinions on which way to go?

I have the M2W remote... I run it in Wild pretty much all the time but I switch it now and again... The remote drops neatly into the ash tray. I was also considering attaching a small piece of velcro to one of several obscure places low on the dash and sticking the remote there... But since I've learned that I don't switch it often, just dropping the remote in the ashtray and closing the door works for me... And installing the control for the M2W took five minutes once I read the instructions... I think the best choice depends on how often you think you'll be wanting to switch modes... bob...

I have mine encoded into a sunvisor button. No Fobs to mess with, no batteries.

I had the Exhaust Commander on my previous C6, and I removed it and the NPP mufflers when I sold the car. It allows you to control the NPP mufflers with any button on the DIC (I used the Reset button). Although I did not buy one, it can also be controlled with a remote from Sunset Orange Creations. If you are interested, I have it for sale and information can be found at on my thread: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-p...-in-1-npp.html

I did it via a toggle switch under the dash that looks factory: 100% reliable, completely out of sight, and instantly accessible. Oh, and much cheaper too . I don't personally like a switch on the dead pedal, but with nice aluminum pedals, that was completely out of consideration. You have many choices .

Yup, here is mine. Same idea. Less than $25. Love it. Hardest part was drilling the hole.

I bought the basic controller kit with the fob remote. It only takes a second to program the sunvisor button, so that you don't need the fob. But I believe you do need the fob to program the visor.
I bought the basic kit from Sunset Orange Creations. There are instructions on how to program it to the sunvisor.

They all work well, some versions need a correct installation to avoid battery drain while parked; not a big deal to do correctly.
I picked the switch mounted on my dead pedal- easy installation, no fob to lose or battery to go dead, don't need to take my hands off the wheel to activate.
Your choice...

I have the NPP with the fob. I have the fob Velcro'd to the dash just below the start rocker.
