Congrats!

I would keep it for starters, nothing like not having a car payment. Or you are so inclined you could grab one of the last C6 models before the jalopy is released in 2014

Keep making the payments but to yourself in a separate savings account.
That way you won't get used to spending the money on something else and you'll build up a savings for your 2018 C7.

Now THAT'S a good idea. Otherwise, before long, what was used for the car payment just gets quietly absorbed into your regular expenses.

do like I did. I bought another one ( with wife's permission of course). Now I have a 2007 VY coupe and a Centennial GS coupe. I like being spoiled.

Enjoy the no payment driving experience. I too have an 08 with no payments and for some reason the driving experience is always just a little sweeter.

Of course save the money because down the road...you just know there will in a few years a corvette model that GM produces that you will just have to own...

If not the first year of the C7..maybe the third or fourth? or maybe you'll line up for the first of the C8's..???

Either way if you keep making payments to yourself...you'll pay cash plus your trade in of the beautiful C6 you presently own and have no payments on that model either??

Have fun.....No debt is a great way to live!

Congrats! Always a plus not having a payment. If it was me, I'd save half the payment and put at least part of it towards the car!
