Default Yes, Carlisle Blue

On the drive in to work today:

1. Stop at a red light, a dude on a Sportster pulls up next to me and says "that's an incredible color man, great Vette!"

2. Next red light, two guys waiting for a bus - "wow, what a cool color! Never seen anything like it before on a Vette."

3. At Starbucks, woman getting into the Benz two spots over as I'm getting out of my Vette - "what a gorgeous color!"

4. Waiting at the red light pulling out of Starbucks, two guys waiting at the cross walk - "that's an awesome color! I really like your Vette."

5. Getting out of the car in the parking deck, the secuirty guy is on patrol -" hey is that your car? I see it parked here all the time. That is a beautiful color. Never saw it on a Vette before."

Not sure what was in the air today to get som many comments

I have never had a negative comment about Carlisle Blue, except here on the Forum. Still can't figure that one out. To each is own I say

Although I went with Torch Red, I really like Carlisle Blue. Great color

I only ever saw one on the dealer lot, and my initial reaction was that I "sort of" liked it. I need to see more, especially on the road, to really make up my mind. It is rather unique, though.

I would have loved to had a Z06 in Carlisle Blue...reminded me of the C2 colors I like so much.

Thanks! I've had a Torch Red and Electron Blue C5 and loved both colors. Guess I'm partial to blue since I'm in my second blue Vette

Nice ride!

I bought my CGM GS off the lot, as I always buy my cars. As usual, I couldn't find one with the exact combo of color and options that I wanted. However, at a local dealer there was a CB GS with the exact option package I wanted and the price was very good. I had never seen one in person, but looked online at the color and immediately dismissed it. In the end I bought mine with all of the options I wanted except for NPP, which I added later. Now, though, after seeing a couple of CB cars, I really wish that I had taken the time to go see that car. I believe that I would have bought it, and been even happier with my car. It pays to fully research everything, when buying a car.

Everybody sees color a little differently and everybody's prefs are different. And, frankly, some men buy cars like this because they are insecure and therefore see soft colors are feminine.

I was sold on it for my upcoming purchase... Then I saw it at dusk on the lot take on a different hue and said UGH. But then yesterday a GS pulled along side me (bright sunny crisp day) and it looked AMAZING.

It's one of those colors. It can look very silver to very blue.

Great color. You have to see it in person to appreciate it.

I like that color too. Saw it on a ZR1 at a car show and it stood out for sure.

I agree 100% The color does not take pictures well but when you see in person you will understand why it is such a awesome color. With only 535 Carlisle Blue made in 2012 it will always turn heads because people will not see the color every day. All corvette are great color cars. My choice was a Carlisle Blue and I am very please with it.

Wow 5 comments in one morning, that's alot. I get the same responce about atomic orange but never that much. I can't recall ever seeing carlisle blue but look foward to seeing it because the color reminds me of the vettes of my youth.

My wife would crack up if she saw this. She thinks ALL Corvette owners are insecure and they make up for whatever is missing by buying some extra horsepower

Now I have to dig deep and figure out if I am insecure or feminine because of the color I bought. Hard to reconcile when my last two Vettes were Electron Blue and Torch Red.

CB is a great color. And the limited production will mean you have a unique and beautiful car well into the future.

Cheers,
JB
