Default Window Tint And Nav Issues

Nav manual for my 2012 Coupe says not to tint windows as it can affect the nav GPS. Anyone with tinted windows and nav having issues?

High quality window tint should not have any effect on electronics. The cheap stuff can also interfere with TPMS.

If I remember correctly, I think you can get ceramic tint that will not affect the nav.

XMRadio antennae are in the outside mirror housings. GPS is in the center dash near the center speaker.

Gotcha...I was thinking of the XM. But since the windshield is not normally tinted, it shouldn't affect the gps if other windows have tinting added.

You need the carbon film tint. That's not the exact name, but any good tint shop would know. You don't want ceramic.
