But I have no clue how people could let cars such as this sit in a barn and just forget about them.

Makes me want to stick a brand new 427 vert in a barn tomorrow and take it out 37 years from now when I'm 81. Well, not really, but a cool thought nonetheless.

If you do, at least put a cover on it.

Very cool . . . my `64 coupe had the two speed slushbox as well . . .the engine will be a 327/250hp.

Would love to see it washed in the light of day.

Thanks for sharing-

Now that's funny! JS-my Dad did start his own business but retired when I was a Freshman in High School...a lot of good that did for me.

Finding that car has got to be like hitting the lottery. With a little help it just might run. What a great project.

I Talked to the owner of the car, His father-in-law died, RIP, and his wife gave him the Vette! Yes, I repeat his wife gave him the Vette!.

He is having it towed to a repair shop tomorrow AM at 9. It is still there in the garage now.

Oh, and I was mistaken, the car has been in the garage for 33 years, not 39. Sorry!
