Default Raining On My 2013 Corvette

Picked it up yesterday! Went to the gym today, and it was raining! No biggie, but I am now in my garage looking at my amazing car, while waiting for the rain to stop, to rinse, and dry! Showers come and go fast here! 14 miles with no Rejex!

I said in another thread. Looking at my Corvette when its wet is like looking at a Victoria Secret super model doing a "wet" shoot.

Beautiful car! Drive it and enjoy it rain or shine. I get that, still my Corvette never gets to play in the rain only sees sunshine and dry pavement.

My 2012 z06 never saw the rain for 12000 miles vacation in Fla week before Debby rained everyday on it. And it didn't melt will wonders never cease.

They don't melt and it's great mental therapy when you get to clean them up.

My Vette has not seen rain sent I've owned it. It's just a silly personal thing with me.
I know it want melt and all that stuff but it's mine and I can treat it how i like ........rain or no rain. I don' t ask or bother other people about how they treat their cars. Heck I know a guy that loves to store his cars in a warehouse, his money and his cars.
There are different kinds of car krazy.............

I picked mine up in Georgia and drove it in the rain back to Connecticut. Fortunately it wasn't raining on Skyline Drive. What a great Corvette road that is.

I feel your pain "newskatercat" I'm not far from you and this time of year here rain in the afternoons is almost guaranteed.
I will never voluntarily take my Z out while it's raining.
Water is like Kryptonite to my car.
Good luck with your new purchase it looks great.

They all go through the 5 minute (I think) high pressure water spray test (simulating hard rain) immediately upon leaving end of assembly line.

And they all sit outside until the are loaded for transport. Just Google Map the BG plant. There are a few hundred Corvettes sitting outside on the lot.
