Should the Corvette become 4 doors?
#21
Absolutely not! I've thoroughly enjoyed my C6 Mag Red coupe for over 7 1/2 years, but it's time to move on. I just 2 days ago ordered a 2013 CTS-V which will be its replacement in my garage. My son will take over the 'Vette, which will be his first, but most probably not last. The Corvette is THE CORVETTE, and it needs to remain America's sports car - not America's sports sedan.

The Corvette is the ONLY true American sports car and always has been. The BEST performance "bang for the buck" on the planet.....why soil that or ruin it by offering a four (4) door version.....
..this is almost as bad as the rumored V6 Corvettes! All I can say is NOOOOOOOO

I don't see a problem with chevy making a high performance 4 door vehicle, but call it something else. You cannot use the name "corvette" and have 4 doors. like Johnodrake said, Porsche calls its 4 door a Panamera not a 4 door 911.

As to your CTS-V purchase...Congrats!! I saw one parked at the mall the other day...as i was looking at it the owner and his wife showed up and surprised us. So we started talking....and they showed me around the car, that is a very nice, NICE looking piece of machinery! There's was a gunmetal gray with colorful badges, ground effects and dark rims.
