Does the remote control version require much wiring? It seems all it would need is to be tied into a fuse or a "hot" wire under the hood somewhere.

Josh, I just bought a 2012 Camaro ZL1. Would this plate work too, and if so which one would I choose on your website. There are three different ones in the "model slection" drop down menu...

Josh, thanks for the quick shipping, I received the Camaro plate in 2 days,... haven't installed it yet...

Have another question though.... You said above it will not fit a ZR1 with splitter. In your link above there is a drop down menu and there is a Z06/GS/ZR1 option. Is there one that works for those or is that a typo on your website? I also have a 2012 GS with your ZR1 Carbon fiber splitter I added, and need a plate for that too...

Probably not that many Camaro owners here, but just an update... Installed on the Camaro and it fit and works great...

Plate still looks awful on the front of a black ZL1, but what else are ya gonna do

Question for anyone that has installed this:

Does this keep the plate from flexing far enough back to create a rub spot on the front bumper? I live in Texas and I have been pulled over TWICE in my last vehicle for lack of a front plate. I don't really have a choice and I'm not going to punch a hole in the front of my vette...

On a side note, how cool would it be to leave it down, get pulled over, then flip it up when the officer approaches from behind and let him think he's losing his mind when he checks and sees a front plate.

Mine has gotten beat up from parking and hitting parking blocks I think. Currently my left rail is bent and the license will no longer work properly. I need to check on getting parts to fix it.
I think this license holder is great, but it is fragile because our front ends are so low.
