My old C4 was named Christine, after the car in the movie. Only because it would drop parts driving down the road but always managed to keep going. The C6 kept the same name.

Mines Katrina like the hurricane... the Procharger makes her sound like she's about to suck up a house and spit it out.

Just came across this:

"Hephzibah" is Hebrew for "My delight is in Her".

From Is 62:4

Would also be good on the plate of a Z:

HEFZBAH

little off subject here,but.....
reason why most hurricanes have female names??
Cause just like wemen when they first come, they are wild and wet and blow hard.....
but when they leave they take your cars, bikes and houses with them...hehe

I refer to my 2011 Z07 Z06 as "Finicky Bitch". It doesn't like to shift gears when cold, scrapes on every driveway and had to have an ECM harness replaced shortly after new (3 visits and 3 weeks at dealer).

I don't assign a gender or name my cars. Getting ideas is fine but I would think naming your car should have some special meaning for you. Maybe give the process a bit more time and you'll come up with the 'right' name.

I've never named my cars, Vettes or otherwise, but they have ALL had gender personalities. My first two Vettes were definitely male. My latest Vette (12 CB GS Coupe) is absolutely female. And I love it.

Now I have to consider naming her. Maybe just "Blue".

Don't have a Vette yet (ordered though), but I did name my 2006 GTO.
"Nona"

My 2004 GTO was Mona...cuz they were really Holden Monaros.

Interesting list. I've always given my cars female names, but not a one on this list. I haven't named the Vette since nothing has really struck as a great name for it yet. Samantha is high on the "possible" list. However, my wife has suggested Jennifer (as in Lopez) since she says it has a big booty on it

My 80 wide glide Harley was "Beulah", because I was always in Beulah land riding on her. The Road King is "The Tank" because that's what she feels like riding on her. The Vette is "Screwtape" because she can bring out the Devil in you. Vehicle names need to be personal that relate to you I would think. What does your Vette mean to you....... all in good fun!
