I was 21 turning 22. I bought it 5 days before my 22 birthday. Couldnt have bought a better car. 2005 with 6490 miles on her. Now i just turned over 25,000 miles. Sadly its not my daily driver.

There was an ad in Motor Trend that said, "If you've wanted a Corvette since you were a kid - - -you've waited long enough!"
in 1974 at age 23- I traded the `73 Grand Am my Dad gave me after undergrad on a red 64 air coupe - I think the same car may be for sale in the C2 section.

At what age
Great stuff, don't know what I like best when one of you had wanted a Corvette since you were real young and gets one or the mature man that gets one in his 60's.

brand new 1981 at 20yrs old. one of the first ones from bowling green. all beige in and out and loaded to the hilt. $19,400 msrp paid $18,000 cash. boy those were the good ole days.

1980 was 27...79 bk L82 4spd pd 13g total piece of s..t wouldn't start when driven for a whileft,pulled to the left,left,dealer could not fix but still loved the car....

Burning Brakes
Back in 2006 when I was 35, I bought a 2003 MY Z06 for $35k with 1,800 miles on her. Sold it in early 2009 and bought my current 2006 Z06 w/ 8,900 miles in December of 2009 for $41k.
