A couple years ago I was driving home from AC in a snow storm & riding along on the AC Expressway was a C6. He was crawling, but he didn't get stuck that I saw. Of course, in deep snow etc I doubt you are going to go anywhere in a C6.

I didn't see your location. How are your winters?

absolutely-
a used C6 - which can easily be found with low miles and a good price -- is very likely one of the best Values out there - especially in light of the performance / dollar factor. I drive mine every day about the same miles as you do -- an 05 with 52k miles -- maxes out the smiles per mile meter every day.

My 06 is the only vehicle I own. If the weather has ice or snow, which does happen on occassion in Texas, I just stay home
I don't get the greatest gas mileage with the mods I've done, but the fun factor and enjoyment is worth paying the extra in gas IMO.

Except for a weak moment when I purchased & drove a Camaro for 8 months, a C6 has been my daily driver for almost 8 years. I drive it about 150 miles a week.
During the winter, we get about 2 or 3 snowfalls of 3 to 6 inches, plus about 5 or 6 light dustings.

Road noise is not an issue for me at all. I had a Jag XJ VDP before this with was certainly much more quite but overall they have done a great job in that department.
The seats are much better than the magazines make them out to be but I find that the top of the seat near the head rest pushes between my shoulder blades and ruins the otherwise acceptable seats. In my opinion either the engineers were short or never spent a lot of time in the car. It was not bad enough to shy my away from the car and I have made several long trips with no ill effects.
If you want to commute a super car class vehicle without killing your bank account in maintenance costs your options are a C6 vette or an older NSX in my opinion.

The gas mileage will be shockingly good, if you drive the car gently. It's been my DD since I bought it new in 2007. I've loved every mile.

Not the best car if there is an issue with low clearance or not opening your doors all the way. I drove my 11 GS everyday for a while. The brakes started to complain from lack of work but it did good.

I find the seats to be very comfortable. I do not track my car so I can't comment on that aspect.
I spent a good amount of time at red lights, and in traffic, here in southern CA. The C6 gets very poor milage in traffic. I get about 14.5 per mile.

The convert is quieter inside than the coupes are and nearly as quiet as the E class Mercedes I had and the seats are about the same.
After I bought the C6 convert I sold the Mercedes to the next door neighbor and now the vette is my daily driver. Great road car for long trips.

Yes
I bought my 07 A6 with the thought of driving it only on the week-ends and on sunny days, that was 36,000 miles ago. I would get up for work and go outside, look at my vette then look at my chevy truck, then go to the vette every day so I finally sold the truck about 6 months ago. This is an amazing car that should be driven every day, enjoy your car.
