Default Why arent there more yellow Grand Sport Coupes?

I have an opportunity to buy a 2011 yellow grand sport with 2k miles on it from the original owner for $45k. The dealers finance manager is my cousin and is getting me this great price. Anyway, the car is yellow and Ive searched around here and the net and just dont see many yellow GS coupes.

Would you buy a yellow GS? Would you buy any GS at the price I am able to buy this one at? This would be my first vette and I think this is a deal I cant pass up. Opinions?

The color is not for everyone. I personally love that color; however, only when someone else is driving it. I can't see myself in one. To each is own. I am sure people say that about my CRM. If you have any doubts, don't get it. You should feel proud about your car and color is everything!

I think yellow looks great. When I was getting my c6 it was between yellow and red and while i went with the latter they are equal to me and definitely my 2 favorite colors for a vette.

That's a pretty good deal. I'm thinking this fall I'm trading up and my first requirement is Velocity Yellow. I love the color, even when it's dusty it looks clean.

People seem to either love it or hate it. I fall into the former camp; love that yellow!!!

Thanks for the replies. I actually like the yellow. Its different. Im more interested in the price I can get the car for. Hopefully, in a year or 2 if I decide to go the C7 route I can still get a nice return on this car since I got a good deal to begin with.

The car will also be certified so Ill get the additional 12 month and 12k mile warranty.

Sounds like a great deal and a GREAT color. After I saw Supersonic Blue, yellow was my next color.

Go for it!

If you're gonna buy yellow you should either be a smoking hot girl or have one in the passenger seat, bc the last thing anyone wants to see is a crusty old geezer in a yellow "look at me" vette

Op--sorry man but you have not listed ANY OPTIONS nor details. Base 1LT, 2LT, 3Lt, Nav, silver painted wheels, grey wheels, chrome wheels, automatic transmission, manual transmission etc...way too many variables to really comment on price other then 45k is clearly in the general ballpark.

Check forum dealers--they have their own section on this fourm...see what they are selling left over 11's for.

Default Com'on

Gents, com'on...it's a Corvette! It can be poop brown and still be bad a**. If your pocket allows it, go for it and enjoy. If it doesn't work for you, sell it, trade it, and move on. Good Luck!
