New Torch Red Grand Sport owner!!!
Technically I've owned it since the 16th but the delivery truck will be here in two hours!!! I ordered a brand new 2011 Torch Red Grand Sport from Mike Furman @ Criswell Chevrolet in MD a couple of weeks ago via phone. He loaded it up on a truck and shipped it off to me in CA last week and the truck driver just called and said it will be here in two to three hours!!! I am so excited I can't stop pacing. It is replacing a C5 coupe that I dearly loved (it has a great new owner so I don't feel too bad) as my weekend toy.
Mike @ Criswell was phenomenal, the sale went as smooth as possible and I got a great deal on a brand new car. I can't recommend him enough, I'm proof he can ship anywhere in the US, and quickly .
I'm going to do a quick ring/brake break in and then it goes under the knife for a few coats of zaino. I will post pics as soon as the truck arrives. In the mean time I think this is going to be the longest two hours of my life...

Pics are incoming! It was unloaded at around 4pm today (expecting it on Tuesday) so I haven't had much time with it yet. I took it to the local airport and drove it around to break in the engine and bed the brakes (making myself nauseous doing it). My first impression is the brakes and suspension are a major step up from my C5 (and it was upgraded). The interior is very nice, kind of like the old one but newer . The car looks AMAZING, down right mean. It also seems to have less surface area, much easier to wash (probably in my head). As of now I managed to dawn, iron x, clay, dawn, and polish it, been a long evening. The paint needs some minor work, it looks great from a couple feet away. I wish there were a few more hours of sunlight (just today) so I could get more done to it . Here are some camera phone pics:
