It is nice seeing the military treated better than we were back in the 60s. So, thank you all for serving..........

I once referred to my Father (WWII, Korea, Vietnam X2), a retired USMC Officer as a hero to some friends.

He later approached me and said, "Son, I know your proud of me for my service, as I am proud of yours (Army Retired) but please don't ever refer to me as a Hero....the Hero's are the ones who did not come home".

So, for all those men and woman who made the ultimate sacrifice, who gave it all for our freedoms, we remember you all the time, but especially this weekend you are in our hearts and minds as we celebrate your lives, your service and your sacrifices this Memorial Day!

Just wanted to share a picture I happened to see earlier that was particularly powerful to me.....

Thank you to all the M.O.S. for your service and your sacrifice!

To all who have served; and those that are still serving here's a sharp salute to you and your families.
And to those families whose loved one paid the ultimate sacrifice...we owe you a debt of gratitude ...

I echo the Thanks to those who are overseas - I am working 'for the man' all weekend (Predator Pilot), but i am lucky enough to do it from home these days. 11 years previous to this i was a C-130 guy, and i had the high privelage of transporting thousands of our nations finest into and away from our nations current battlefields. The real heroes IMHO.

USA! USA! USA! USA!

It is the
VETERAN,
not the preacher,
who has given us freedom of religion.

It is
the VETERAN,
not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press.

It is
the VETERAN,
not the poet,
who has given us freedom of speech.

It is
the VETERAN,
not the campus organizer,
who has given us freedom to assemble.

It is
the VETERAN,
not the lawyer,
who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is
the VETERAN,
not the politician,
Who has given us the right to vote.

Thank You and God Bless
