Yes, I like them...
I have replaced the OEM's with Firestones several times and will again as needed...
I dont know if they are better, the same, or worse when it comes to handling, but I have had no problems.
The Firestones are much more economical than the Goodyears.
The Firestones are much much quieter than the OEM Goodyears.
It was a No Brainer for me.
Several of my friends have gone with the Firestones and I have not heard of any complaints...

I put a set on our C6 last summer, the tire shop recommended the tire. love them, they handle much better than the F1's, much much less tire noise, and yes I will put them on again, actually thinking about putting a set on my C3 also, that's how impressed I am with the tire. Love them!

I have them on my car. Way better tire than the JUNK Goodyears. Goodyears are over priced junk. I hope GM gets rid of Goodyear on the C7.

Love 'em. I have had both and I seem to get more miles out of the non-Goodyear brands.

However, there was a very good post about a month ago from a GM guy who was talking about the specs of the Goodyear Run-flats versus the other brands, including the Firestone and I believe Michelin.

He admitted that the other brands had a better and less-stiff ride but he also said this was because the sidewall on the other brands was softer.

And it is the construction of that sidewall that enables the Goodyear run-flat to run longer distances on a flat. For example, he said you could get about 100 miles or so from a Goodyear versus 50 miles for the other brands.

Now, why it would take you that far to get somewhere where the problem could be remedied is beyond me.

Yes to 1 and 2 can't answer 3.

Here's my left front After a HPDE 1 last April. The tire has over 22k, 18 HPDE 1 sessions and 3 Test and tunes at the drag strip. The tires are getting a little hard from the heat cycles. You can't beat the price on these tires compared to GY.

Isn't this like the third or 4th Firestone post???

I prefer the Michelin PS2 ZP, but only you can decide if it's worth the extra couple hundred bucks ... It was for me! (and I hate the French!)

well of course people who put these tires on their Vette are gonna say they are better than the GY, what else are they gonna say, admit they were too cheap to put the best tire on their car?

if you are a boulavard cruiser or just take the car out for a wax, these are perfectly fine tires, but don't try to BS the rest of us into thinking they are a better performance tire than the GY, either the GS2 and most definately not the SuperCars
