Default Been Quiet Lately...

Got all my paperwork from Tommy Jr. today, signed it all and sent it right back. He foot the bill for overnighting it both ways...one more thing to add to the list of how easy it has been dealing with him over the last few months. It's almost scary how easy it has been. Anyhoo, just waiting to get the paperwork back then head South. Hope all you folks that already took delivery are enjoying the heck out of your new rides.

TrekWater88, this has been such a smooth deal for you, and you're picking-up at the museum, so awesome!

Considering when you ordered and when you're picking up, it's practically a "Just In Time" production for you....... are you driving or flying down to get it?

Too bad you couldn't pick it up before your high school reunion and show up there with that beast!! that would be something

I bought mine from MacMulkin also! Tommy Jr's crew did an amazing job. made things super simple.

I got my inspection passed an hour ago (was a PITA!), now i can get her registered and have license plates.

It's gonna be a family affair. My oldest Son is home for 3 weeks from Job Corps, which is in...of all places...Kentucky!!! A lot of cool things converging at once. All four of us (Me, Wife and both sons) are driving down Friday, taking delivery on Saturday at 10:00 a.m., then heading North. It's funny, My HS reunion is actually the same day. I already told them why I wasn't coming and they were totally cool with it. You're right, it has been a very smooth process...but soooooo ready for it to be in the rearview mirror!

Finally, Lori called today and said she just got my car at the Museum. (2013 60th 427 Vert). I have delivery planned for the 19th, so it won't be on the webcam for about a week.
I'll be in BG for the Homecoming, then hit the Tail of the Dragon on the way home. Now that's the way to do it.
Excited doesn't even start to cover it. Less than two weeks now.

I know that will be a fun day! After the Tail, keep headed east and drop by and say Hi!

Thanks, JD. I'd love to get out that way....but work calls. It should be a great ride home, though.

That's one of a few things I don't miss about living in Texas anymore. No state inspections in WI, only the occasional emissions test, but that's only for older cars.

Oh yea...I AM a Native Texan!!!
