I have had mine installed about a month now and I can tell you it REALLY does work! I also have the console one too and it too makes a HUGE difference. Thanks for a great product that is so easy to install & makes such a big difference.

Picked mine up this week along with a replacement front plate mount (I live 20 mins away from Top Flight) & I like the insulator, works as advertised, but I think it should be 1/2 as thick & it'd still work.

The bottles I put in the holder now start to tip over when taking off from a stop due to less depth in the already no so deep void.

Have the same issue without the insulator in place, the Poland Springs bottle water container is smaller in Dia. than most containers and will not stay in the cup holder I switched to another brand of bottle water

It was depth, not diameter we're talking about!

Still a great product, don't get me wrong.
I think it could be made 1/2 as thick & still work as advertised to keep my, or others, Coke bottles from toppling, IMO.

I bought the cup holder insulator from Top Flight Reproductions and it works as advertised, significantly reducing the heat's effect on a cold beverage held in the cup holder.

It fits perfectly, and looks OEM.

Got the dual cup holders but I had already cut some silver backed muffler tape strips for the console bottom and the OEM cup holders. Cools better but still not enough not to utilize the added cup holders. Damn ChevyInc should have better insulated the drive tunnel in the first place. These (are) grand touring cars aren't they? Über sports touring machines? If they were only track cars with pull string door handles a la F40s, with no carpets or roll down windows that would be one thing but they're not! Sheesh!

Just ordered a set for the new Vert.... also ordered the console insert too.

Hopefully, it knocks down a significant amount of the heat. I may wait to install them another month or two from now when it gets a little warmer.

YES I did notice. I have something in the works that I am making myself as a preferred choice. I always know that if what I am planning doesn't turn out so well, I have an awesome fallback !
