Default Tonea cover strikes back glass on convertible when closing

Does anyone know of any way to adjust the power top or any other type of fix for the toneau cover striking the lower edge of the back window glass when the cover goes up and down?

My manual top on my 06 does the same thing. Curious to hear if there's an adjustment.

There are elastic straps that pull the glass out of the way. They are stitched to the inner cloth panel. They may stretch out if your top is up all the time. Pull them a little tighter and put another stitch in them.

Can anyone provide a picture or a more detailed description of where the elastic straps are?

That is a geed video. I have finally located the 7mm bolt that is holding one end of the elastic strap. But what kind of tool(s) would I need to remove the other end that is attached by a pop rivet and to install the new strap with a pop rivet?

And does the parts department even sell that strap? Any idea what it is called or the part number?

I just looked at my straps on my top (manual), the straps looked brand new and were not stretched out. I pulled on them and has no effect on the back glass. The strap looks like it is connected to a different part of the frame. Maybe I'm looking at it wrong. I always have to push my back glass a little to clear. My biggest problem is the tonea cover will not stay up, is there a solution to this?

Minev does it to. reach back and pull the glass a little and wah lah, doesn't hit. I've had to do this for a long time.
