funny, I just bought a 13 grand sport, and have a clicking in the steering wheel you describe. it feels as if its in the actual steering column. I also get a shake in the steering wheel at 60mph +

They said there is a service bulletin on it. Idk
Car has 157 miles on it when i brought it back the day after I bought it for this issue.

My guess there a TSB for previous years that cover the same or similar issue.

That makes me so paranoid. I'm picking up my '13 this week.

Wouldn't you think that if there was already a TSB for something like this for previous years, that the new ones would have the issue already addressed?

all i can do is pray lol.

Sorry, I got the jitters since my delivery is so close.

Most Corvettes have a few minor problems, very few Corvettes have the major problems this thread is following.

Relax, enjoy the anticipation and then enjoy the car.

My 2011 had a rack drip from day one. Chavy replaced the whole thing.

Called Onstar, no help, then took it into the dealer where after 3 days they replaced the Steering Column, I told them it might be the Rack, but after checking with GM, that’s what they told them to change. Well the new Steering Column did not fix the problem, so GM told them to replace the Rack and Pinion, which fixed the problem after 10 days.

Good news everything seems fine now and no problem with the dealer, bad news I did not expect this on a new Corvette that I have driven maybe 10 times.
My 2012 GS getting new telescoping steering column when the new one gets here. Car resting in my garage until then. Car has 1900 miles column has play in and out. No shakes or side to side play. I didn't think it was right and the dealer agreed. Now we will see if they can get it back together correctly. Critical install in my book!
