I may or may not wave depending on my mood and if they wave first. It doesn't mean I don't have a passion for the car it just means I don't feel like waving. I also don't hang out with a corvette club or get involved with corvette circle jerks at local car cruises. I beat the ***** off of my car and hang out with friends that use their cars for more then Sunday cruises.

I've noticed that up here in the northeastern united states people tend to be kind of ..... um..... a**holes i guess is the best way to put it. My wife and I always wave and smile at every 'vette owner we see. But that's not uncommon since we are from rural Texas where everybody waves at everybody no matter what you drive. At fisrt I always thought it was because the older 'vette owners didn't like seeing a "kid" (since I'm 21) driving the same thing they've worked their whole lives for but hey, if I wave at you at least have the cortousy to wave back. I hate it up north, just a bunch of rude people.

Sorry for ranting...

As for The Wave...some do, some don't.
This one always has & always will.

Always wave and live, work and drive in the NY area.

Come visit Cars & Coffee: Yorktown NY and we'll all wave at ya.

In Miami there isnt such a thing. There is so much money here, that it allows people to buy these cars not knowing the meaning of owning one, its history and things like the Wave. I did get smoked by Lebron James in his Supercharged murdered out Z06 not too long ago. To and from Key West, I will get lots of waves and aren't left hanging waving

I always wave back. If I wave first and they don't wave back, I wave the 'bird'.

You know, it's just like most things. I'm referring to the old 80/20 rule. Only in the case of us 'Vette owners I know it's more like 95/25. There is always going to be that 20, or in our case, 5%, that just don't do it, whatever it is. So let's just keep on waving and forget about the non-wavers. SAVE THE WAVE!

It is just an education Thing. Some are aware and some are not. Those un-aware folks will eventually get it or be enlightened.

Of course they may not want to wave for personal reasons but they will know!

Save the wave and do the wave

If I see them in time, I wave to all Corvettes. I'd guess about half wave to me.

But if I were a beautiful blond, my chances of getting a smile and a wave would go up... significantly.

Cheers,

Have noticed most drivers waving but maybe we're supposed to be weaving at them not merely waving......

I've had that happen to me and it still does from time to time. Sometimes they don't see you and sometimes they'rejust let's say different.

Keep waving

I have had mine only a month, but quickly caught on to the wave thing. But I also ride a Harley, and for bikers its a given.
Most Vette drivers wave here in sunny southwest Florida.
