Default 05 Rim Fitment?

I'm looking at new rims, the rears are stock 19x10, but the fronts are 18x9.5. They say they fit C5 and C6 base and Z51's. Concerned with the fronts popping out to much, especially with the rears remaining stock width. Thought I had read about running stock size tires 245/40
on the 9.5 rim, will a 245/40 fit a 9.5 ? Or is 18x9.5 and 19x10 a bad choice?

You can use a 9.5 up front without issue, I'm using this size on mine and running a 275/30/19 without issue. If you use a 245 up front with this width, you will probably have major sidewall stretch. I would try and find a least a 255, may even try looking in the 4sale section

Yeah I thought the 245 would be to streched but thought I had read using them so they wouldn't pop out as much.
What width are you using in the rear? I'm concerned with it looking funny since the ars will only be 10

Believe me, they will not stick out too much, I had a 265 on a 9.5 rim up front and they still had too much stretch. Went to 275 without issue and still have room left over. I'm running 325's on a 11" rim without issue and have it slammed. Love the look

O.K., I ordered 18x9.5 with stock offset front and 19x10 rear with a +65 offset. They said the stock 245/40/18 would fit the 18x9.5 no problem. If I went say 265 in the front would I have to increase the rear size to keep every thing in ratio?

Slickshoes ran 245s on his front 18x9.5s with no issues. I have 265s and no problems either.
