Default How often do you wash your car?

It has been over 14 months for me last time I washed mine and no, I do not have anyone else do it... As a matter of fact, it may be a while until I even consider doing it again, the paint still feels pretty slick from Liquid Glass treatment 14 months ago. And yeah, this is my daily driver although I never drive in the rain...

I have a mobile detailer that comes to my house every two weeks.

Depends on what type of wash you're talking about. I do a quick spray down and clean-up on the car weekly, then again any time the car sees any inclement weather.

I seal the car every 6 months with Klaase sealant glaze and top that with a couple coats of dodo juice about every month and a half depending on frequency of washes and wax deterioration.

A movie detailer? Do you mean like in mobile detailer or someone working on movie sets?

I wash the car with soap and water only when it is really, really dirty. (Mine is a daily driver and I DO drive in the rain.). Other times, when it has light dirt, I use a product called "Spray on Car Wash" from Griot's. Quick and, so far, hasn't given me any swirls or scratches. Of course my paint is always protected with several coats of Zaino...

I am talking about hose and bucket and mitten or sponge and whatever else it may take. I wipe off my car with a moist towel occasionally but this is it...

I use detail spray after every drive. I only wash it if I have been driving in the rain or on a long trip or when the top needs cleaning.

Every few weeks.

Here in San Diego the cars get dusty, and the dust is fairly light-colored. When it rains or sprinkles, and the car is out, the dust gets rearranged into splatter patterns.

Then it gets washed, (I do it, hand in bucket) unless rain is in the forecast for the week ahead.

You may be a redneck ... if you change your oil more often than you wash your car

I would imagine salt residue may be an issue as well due to proximity of the ocean. I manage to avoid sprinklers and running over standing water...

I think this would only apply if the car was dirty due to this taking place, my car is very very clean though... Seems like the only time I have ever washed my cars was when I bought them, they were loaded with residue that required wash and clay bar but the last two vettes I sold before gettting these two, I sold without ever washing them or waxing after the first time and one of them was black

As often as I shower, once a week whether it needs it or not.
