No hope this helps I've had a whole string of coupes and convertibles never top down or off. So my zo6 is okay with me wife hates hair blowing go figure.

I went from a c5 coupe to hard c6z and don't miss the removable top that much but I guess it depends on where u live and how the weather is

No and with what is under the hood you will not mind what is over your head.

I could be wrong but I believe Caravaggio did a conversion where they'd reinforce a Z06 to make it with a removable top or perhaps even a Z06 convertible. It can be done but it was rather pricey.
A guy I knew said he was at a gas station a few years ago and saw what looked like a Z06 convertible. He first thought it was a 'faux' Z06 but no....it was a real Z06 convertible. He talked with the owner and apparently, the guy just took the car to a body shop and had it modified. He said they did a good job but they didn't do anything to reinforce the car. The owner or body shop didn't have a clue you needed to do that. Sadly, the guy probably ruined the value of the car.

For over 5 years now, I've been saying I'm going to take the top off . . . still not yet. But I'm going to soon.

And the fixed roof coupes are tight and quiet to boot.
There have been a few C6 Zs that have received targa top conversions. It's pricey. And given the structural issues, not something I'd do to mine.
If you want the big cube engine and wind in the hair, the 427 vert is the way to go.
