Default INCREDIBLE advance in exhaust controller technology: Exhaust Commander Elite is here!

See the video! Use your Corvette's lock button to control your NPP bi-mode exhaust!

Both the interior door lock button and your cars keyfob remote can control your exhaust!

This is the new Exhaust Commander Elite NPP Z06 ZR1 exhaust controller, the most revolutionary exhaust controller ever produced!

The Exhaust Commander Elite install is very easy, is plug and play, and requires NO TOOLS or wire splicing of any kind! Installation instructions and user manual are available for download at www.sunsetorangecreations.com on the instructions page.

Please watch the demo video below, it was filmed in High Definition for your viewing pleasure.

With the car on, double-pressing the lock buttons on either door or your Corvette key fob immediately opens (LOUD!) and closes (QUIET) the exhaust.

The mode selected displays in your Driver Information Center (DIC), and HUD (if equipped) for three seconds, letting you know exactly what mode your exhaust is in!

Exhaust Commander Elite can also optionally open and close your NPP system at RPM values of your choice below 3500 RPM (USER RPM mode). The larger the difference between the open and close RPM thresholds, the less sensitive the opening and closing is with engine speed variations.

You can easily enable or disable the USER RPM mode. You choose whether you want QUIET and LOUD! modes only, or QUIET, LOUD!, and USER RPM modes. It's your choice, and you can change it anytime.

The Exhaust Commander Elite remembers its last setting and there are no battery drain concerns in any mode.

If you turn off your car in LOUD, it will start in LOUD.
If you turn it off in QUIET, it will start in QUIET.
If you turn it off in USER RPM, it will start in USER RPM.

We have an OBD-II splitter cable available that allows you to use the Exhaust Commander Elite and any other unit that needs to use the OBD port. There is a drop down menu that lets you add the splitter cable to your order.

DIC-based user menu when your car is in Accessory mode.
    • No splicing of any wires.
    • No odd programming cables.

  • Incredibly simple installation process, comes with everything necessary out-of-the-box.
    • Remove your 10A Exhaust Fuse fuse already in place.

WOW! This controller seems to have answered most of the questions and solved most of the problems that everyone has had with previous controllers.

NO battery drain when the car is shut off with the exhaust in closed position.

NO separate controller, uses your existing fob or the or the door buttons in the car.

RPM control also.

Thanks so much for the post!

This is an amazing exhaust controller and we are looking forward to hearing how everyone likes having complete control of their bi-mode exhaust using, door lock, Corvette keyfob, and RPM control.

I have NPP exhaust on my '09 vette but the hoses are not hook up and does not have OEM computer module to control it.

Does this kit work? Does it come with vacuum hoses to hook it to the exhaust?

Can your kit be programmed to stay quiet/closed at all RPM's for track with sound requirements?

I think I found the kit for people that want bi-mode exhaust.

http://shop.sunsetorangecreations.co...=5&productId=9

Is this correct? I can still control it by RPM?

The kit above is the orignal NPP retrofit kit.

You you are going to want the new Exhaust Commander Elite All-in-1 NPP retrofit kit, it's our new addition to our already popular All-in-1 NPP retrofit kit line. It is a kit designed for people who have added NPP bi-mode exhaust to a car that did not come with it from the factory.

It is a easy install, no drilling needs to be done on your car to install it, and you get all the amazing features of the new Exhaust Commander Elite controller.

Here is the link: Exhaust Commander Elite All-in-1 NPP retrofit kit

It includes everything you need to control a retrofitted bi-mode exhaust. It comes with the Exhaust Commander Elite controller, all the vacuum lines needed, all the wiring needed, and the vacuum solenoid box.

This new NPP retrofit it can also be used to update an NPP retrofit kit to use the new Exhaust Commander Elite controller.

So you would want to get:

and
GM vacuum solenoid wiring harness

If you have any additional questions feel free to send us a message or give us a call.

Since your unit uses OBDII port, does it have an open port to keep the window valet? The vacuum solenoid is needed on the zr1?

Does this interfere with the Window Valet? Do you sell the adapters to run this and the Window Valet?

I bought an NPP control system from this company a couple of years ago, it was the only one that could be wired to the tack and have it operate like the factory NPP. I never had a problem with it and this is a great vendor to deal with.
I am now considering this new system.

Exhaust commander Elite does not interfere with the Window Valet.

We have a splitter cable that you can purchase with the kit that allows more than one device to be used at the OBD-II port.

To do full closed mode to redline RPM on a ZR1 you need is the Exhaust Commander Elite controller and the vacuum solenoid wiring harness.

On a Factory bi-mode car using Exhaust Commander Elite you would have:
  1. Quiet Mode (Factory RPM opening),
  2. Loud! Mode (Open all the time),
  3. User RPM mode (User selectable RPM below factory opening <opens at factory RPM>).

If you use our special vacuum solenoid wiring harness with the Exhaust Commander Elite you would have:
  1. Quiet Mode (Closed all the time <no factory RPM opening>) ,
  2. Loud Mode! (Open all the time),
  3. User RPM Mode (User selectable RPM below 3500 RPM)

We have a splitter cable available for for purchase for those people who want to use more than one device at the OBD-II port.

George,

Thank you for the post!

This new controller is easily added to your existing system.

All you need to do is swap the old controller unit for the new Exhaust Commander Elite.

This makes it clearer:

On a Factory bi-mode car using Exhaust Commander Elite you would have:
  1. Quiet Mode (Factory RPM opening),
  2. Loud! Mode (Open all the time),
  3. User RPM mode (User selectable RPM below factory opening <opens at factory RPM>).

That is awesome!....Nice to have the different modes all in one. I have the existing NPP all in one retrofit kit I bought last year and may consider upgrading
