I bought a 2012 gs centennial with the 2k optional chrome aluminum rims.
Does this mean I also get the standard black rims that orginally come with the package?
I'm hearing both sides. Some saying the dealer cheated me out of the black rims. Some say that is the additional price of the rims but that seems awfully high for just a chrome option.
When I went to price my car on nada and click on the optional chrome rim option, it also populates the black standard rims as well.
Your thoughts?

You should have kept the black and bought the chrome from a forum vender here.......for half the cost...........then you would have both sets.......just sayin!
Oh! wanted to add that you bought a winning combination btw........Cents with chrome wheels rock!

It was a lot car so I didn't have a choice. And you really like the chrome? I love the black rims. I even found a place (American tire distributors) that makes the oe black ones but they are so cheap that it makes me a bit worried about quality.

Aftermarket wheels do seem to cause a lot of problems. If you want black, you can probably buy a silver painted set from someone who did an after-purchase upgrade, then have them painted/powdercoated black.
That way, you get the quality GM wheels in black and can keep or sell your original chromies.
