Mild to wild exhaust

I really like it on my 08 coupe. I leave it on Wild all the time around town. Only time I turn it off is on the interstate.

M2W was the first mod to my 09 C6 1LT. Easy install, no problems in 3.5 years.
Regrets? None. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
But IMO the full-open "wild" gets a bit tiresome for most around-town driving. And the closed "mild" is too quiet for me.
Fortunately there's a middle ground... I installed collars that keep the valves slightly open. Easily adjustable, so my "mild" setting is now exactly as loud as I like.

Very cool mod. I keep mine Mild most of the time, but, when I want people to take notice I switch to Wild. If I drive around town all the time with it on Wild it causes a drone that drives me nutz. Just me...

Good idea! Where did you get them?

Mild to Wild could be a problem.
My friend and I both purchased 2011 Grand Sport verts last June, and I installed the M2W on both cars. I have my M2W on all the time, and I drive the car almost daily with no problems. My friend drives his only once every 7 to 10 days. Last week his battery was dead, and he had the car transported to the local Chevy dealer. They kept it two days with the conclusion that the battery was drained down by the M2W, so he had them take it off. I'm waiting to see if he has any further battery problems.

Best aspect is the adjustability - helps keep the passenger happy on long highway drives. For mounting/installation, I simply removed (pulls right out) the ashtray and used velcro tape to secure the remote control there. I keep the ashtray door closed when not fussing with the control so its "invisible" most of the time, yet very handy.
I installed the M2W right after I bought the car in 09, and am still running with the original battery and have had no problems - however I should mention that I hook up a battery tender whenever the car is home in the garage, I have found this helps battery life.
The only improvement I would like to see in the device is this: I like the OEM stock feature of the pipes automatically "opening up" when the engine hits a certain rpm (between 3,000 and 3,500 rpm) but if I could, I would change it to have them open at about 1700 rpm and remain closed when below 1700 rpm. This would avoid annoying drone at legal cruising speed yet improve exhaust sound earlier than in the stock setting.

Overall a very nice add-on. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Should be standard.
